I finally decided to go ahead with a major website revamp. While I kinda like the layout of this one, it kinda got boring real quick and many features are not really needed anymore.

So being said, I will most likely keep the forums opened but everything else will start changing within the coming weeks and months. Bare with me and feel free to comment if you encounter errors and bugs.

Gentlemen,

finally got the first website theme all figured out.
It is not the perfect version since I now to go from static to actual information but we should be very close to this.

Feel free to comment on what you like and dislike;

Can we change the width of the window, I have to scroll side to side to read everything.

even now? technically, it is 1024 width. this is what most websites are built around. Is it because of your "favorites" menu or the page is really scrolling left and right when your left menu is off?

PS. If you click the link it will open directly into THIS website, which is bad. copy and paste in a fresh new window and tell me if you get the same results.

I don't like that the minimum user name length is greater than 5. "IndiaAKAtheBanker" is stupid, but it wouldn't take "India" and I couldn't add a few underscores to make it longer.

India, I will check the settings right away. It is not something I usually change so I guess PHPBB decided 5 was not enough. Expect your name to be changed shortly.

p.s. You could have done like I did everywhere; Strikers_blade
That solve your minimum 8 letters dilemma ;)

Well I go to the airsoft events page and then click forum. And it opens the forum in the airsoft events window. And I put:
http://www.airsoftevents.com/forum.php into a fresh window and get the same results.

edit
Your link opens the .php
I just noticed that when I wrote that out. If you can change it to just open http://www.airsoftevents.com/forum it works.

Ah. then yes, the problem with my actual layout is the forums (and the gallery before) would become part of the website. While it was nice and dandy with the proper width, it was simply an issue when I had to change the theme and stuff like that.

So on the new website, the forums (and the gallery) will open a fresh new window, allowing the user to keep looking what he wants on the website while having access to the forum at the same time. Effective, easy to maintain and user friendly, can't really be better :D

Gentlemen,

The website is officially under construction. You can enjoy the mock-up here for now but the future should be about 95% similar to it;

Comments or suggestions? feel free to throw them my way.
